Ministers of God have been admonished to refrain from doing things that are contrary to the will of God.
The admonition was given by The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA territorial Chairman and Vice President, Pastor Dr Emmanuel Segun Awojide JP while declaring open the 20th LAWNA-WIDE Ministers' Improvement Seminar with theme DWELLING IN THE LORD'S HOLY HILL ( Psalms 15:6) holding from 14th- 18th May, 2018 at 10 selected zones in the territory.
Pastor Emmanuel Segun Awojide said that the motives of the ministers of God should be pure and right and in harmony with God's law so that worshipping of idols, or anything that compromises faith can be avoided
According to Pastor Awojide " we as ministers must avoid things that compromises our faith and it is then and only then we will show ourselves to be people who abide in the tabernacle of the Lord and dwell in His holy hill" he concluded.
The LAWNA Chairman and Vice National Chairman of Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Awojide however enumerated the rewards of those abiding in the tabernacle of the Lord, he stated that blessed are they that dwell in the tabernacle, they will find in Him a shadow from the heat and God will not withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly.
In his acknowledgment and welcome note, the facilitators' coordinator, LAWNA Director of Educational Services, Pastor Dr P. O. Oladipo posited that a minister of God as well as his followers needs to examine his ways of life, place his behaviour and deeds on the scale of the Word of daily. Pastor Oladipo concluded that if a minister of God falls short of God's standard, he should ask for forgiveness of his sins and repent totally, to turn to God with hold hands and a pure heart.
