What Inspire You To
Write This Book?
There are many things that inspired me into writing this
book. There are many events that have happened in my life that prompted me to
decide that the only way to achieve purpose in life is to discover the real
person in you. In summary, what I have discovered is that some people what you
to succeed; they want you to achieve purpose and be the best you can be but they don’t
really believe in your ability. They welcome you to run errand for them. These
set of people will always be glad to see you being available in all activities
but when it comes to giving you opportunity to make money, giving contract and
even recommend you that is when they will remember that you are technically
deficient in that area. The funny nothing about this is that you dare not
complain because if you do that they will see you as ingrate and so on. So I discovered
that the only thing that will keep me going is to discover who God want me to
be and move on. At a point in my life, I have seen people that do not believe
in my dream. I have seen people that only want me to be available for them all
the time but they have nothing to offer me in order to succeed. So I made up my
mind not dwell on their behaviours because the more I rue the lost the more I sin.
It was because of all these I want to tell others that no man can do it for you
except God. And God can only do it if you know him. Therefore, before a man can
be successful he must know God. God must know him and the relationship must be
cordial. Without that, people will toss you around and you find out that you’ve
just come to this world to make up the number.
Is This Your First
Book Or You Maybe You Have Written Others In The Past?
Actually this is not my first book. I have written about
four books before now, it just that I wanted people to have a feel of this book
before publishing other books. Just as this one is a motivational book I have
two of such that are motivational. I have a fiction story book and a general
interest story. For this book DISCOVERING
THE YOU …An Illuminating Guide To Success took me about five years to get it
out. The delay was not because there was no money to publish but I think this
is the set time that God wanted it to be available to people to read.
What Are The Challenges
You Faced In The Course Of Writing This Book?
There are challenges about life that a man must face on the
path to success. So the kind of challenges I faced wasn’t that peculiar. But one
thing I can say that really got me surprised was that some people still don’t believe
in my vision. Even though I wasn’t expecting to be believe but I want them to
at least leave me to God to decide that king of outcome that fit my decisions. For
instance, prior to this book launch I had mapped out how to generate money in
order to print the book, but along the line something happened that I may not
be able to explain to everybody. Some will still ask you why you printed
invitation card when you don’t have money to print the book you want to launch.
Even people I respected so much made that statement and I felt bad about the
thing because what they are telling me is that I was stupid for putting my
faith to work. In all of these the question I asked myself was that if these
people can do this to how much more people that are not active in faith. so,
this is one challenge I faced in the build up to releasing this book is not
what I expect from people I so much respect most especially in this Christian race.
What Advice Do You
Have For Upcoming Writers?
Well, my advice to whoever wants to toe this line is to
remain dogged because not many people believe in what you can do. Once you have
this statement that “I can do it through Christ that strengthens me” you won’t be moved by what people say or do to
you. I always say that my salvation is personal so nobody can determine the
level of my relationship with God. Once I have known my stand before God I can
achieve all. And that is why my best bible character is David because he is
very dogged and purposeful. Therefore I will advise anybody or youth out there
to discover purpose and fulfill it.
