THE YOU

I have always known that people have a lot of difficulties in discovering themselves. Have you ever taken time to study people in order to know who they are? I’m very sure that about seventy to eight percent of them will tell you what their names are. Some will even go further to list all names their parents gave them so as to tell you who they are. Do names really tell who a man/woman is? Can a man’s name alone represent his identity? Who are you? It is good for you to research into your life to know exactly who you are, what makes up for what people see in our mortal body.

What Purpose Are We Created To Fulfill?

Man, as a higher animal was created by God to fulfill a purpose.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (KJV) Gen.1:28. From the above quotation let us examine these words. Fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and dominion one after the other.

FRUITFUL

In a layman definition of fruitfulness, it is the production of many useful, important and worthy results.

·        To be fruitful means to exist in great numbers of quantities

·        To be fruitful means to achieve a lot

·        It means to produce new and useful thing, especially ideas.

·        Mind that produces good results, that encourages activity

·        To be faithful means to be prolific. i.e. existing in large number full of energy, excitement and happiness

·        To be fruitful also mean abundant, plenteous rich and teeming

MULTIPLY

·    To multiply means to increase or make something increase very much in number or amount

·        To increase in value, size and amount of something

·        To use one’s effort, abilities and supplies on something

·        It also means to spread, to affect or make something affect, be known by or used by more and more people.

REPLENISH

·        To make something full again by replacing what has been used.

·        To replenish means to re-fill what has been used

·        To renew, re-supply, enrich and furnish

·        It also means to provide, store and supply

SUBDUE

·        In the world of subdue, it simply means to bring somebody or something under control, especially by using force.

·        In order words to subdue means, to beat, something under control especially by using force.

·        In order words to subdue means to beat something to achieve something

·        Bend a particular course, break something to gain control, not to bow to any situation around you, conquer the I-cannot spirit within you

·        To tame the fear that is drawing you back

·        To enslave every ‘little’ good in your life

·        To abandon the way of failure and choose the winning    way

·        To defeat every giant of your life and be set at liberty

·        To discomfit and embarrass every enemy of your success.

·        To subdue is  to have an over-bearing influence upon unpleasant situation in your life

·        To surmount every  mountain that has been blocking your progress

·        To moderate upon the issue of your life

·        To reduce tension, stress, failure and every evil agreement

·        To restrain yourself from walking on a spot without a definite direction

·        To choke every thorn that wants to choke and suck you dry

·        To rout completely every Goliath of your life

·        Above all to overpower, overwhelm and overcome all issue of your life that will derail you from achieving your goals in life

                             DOMINION

Dominion rounds this verse up that for you to discover yourself you must be in authority

·        You must have the power or right to do something

·        Control all situation of life

·        You must possess a definite territory for you to have dominion

·        To dominate, you must have sovereignty, which is taking decision without external inferences or control.

In conclusion, the You that must discover must realize that he is born or created to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and dominate. Without these traits in you, you are not a God -created image.

It is out of your fruitfulness that you can discover yourself. It is through your multiplication that people can see you as somebody that has made an impact.  Your replenishment means to raise people that subdue. You must determine to take charge. You must develop a character to control yourself to success.  And the ultimate of all is the power to dominate.
