Text: John 2: 1-11
Topic: God Can Perform Wonders Before The Appointed Time.
The God will serve can perform miracles before the appointed time. Faith is like a living organism. And it is expected that a living organism should live daily. So as a Christian it is expected that you should live. We all believed that there is an appointed time for everything. Psalm 119: 126 Ecclesiastes 3: 1-7 the Bible enumerated all things that there are appointed time for by God. If there is anybody waiting for the appointed time that is a level of faith. Another level of faith is when you believe that God can work before the appointed time.
In John chapter 2, there is a story of wedding that Jesus and His mother were in invited by man who happened to be His relative at Gana of Galilee. One thing about Galilee is that you can get original olive oil in Galilee. So Jesus was there and He was there as a silent man. Before we knew it the wine finished for wedding finished and there was no hope for bridegroom. His mother told him to demonstrate what people didn't know about him. The same Jesus who said it was not yet His time work time he performed miraclemiracle and wine was available at the wedding ceremony. God can perform miracles before the appointed time. It is good you believed in the appointed time but increase your level of faith that Jesus can work before the appointed time. Will you wait for the appointed time or what Jesus can do?
If your faith is dead, it shall resuscitates today. If you have taken 2018 as your appointed time I am telling you that today Jesus will do it. Why did Jesus do that miracle when He had said that His hour has not come? It is because He is an unquestionable God. The approach of Jesus is that he does not want His relative to put to shame.
WHAT YOU MUST DO FOR GOD TO WORK BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME
1. You must have strong relationship with Jesus. Only those that maintain good relationship with him can experience this kind of miracles. the man is this story is a relative of Jesus and that was why Jesus was present at the wedding. If you wants Jesus to be present in your life you must be His relative and maintain cordial relationship with Him.
2. Some scholars said the man is a friend of Jesus. You have to be a friend of Jesus if you want Him to perform miracles in your life. If you want Jesus to perform miracles in your life before the appointed time, you must be a friend of Jesus. It is good to receive your miracles at the appointed time but it best to receive your miracles before the appointed time.
Father, I decided today to be your relative and your friend because I know you can do it before the appointed time.
God can perform wonders before the appointed time.
As a Christian, you must be very careful waiting for the appointed time. The appointed time for Israelites was longer than the set time.

Jesus prosper my ways before I ought to be prosper.
The Lord will open all blocked ways.
